4Soak 'em down  Jun 21, 2008 By Christopher Lewis "Chris & Trudy"
I am a soldier in Kuwait and I bought this super soaker so I could terrorize my buddies. This thing is great, It's easey to hold on to, you don't have to pump it a million times to get good water pressure. It holds just over a lieter of water and the stream shoots pretty far. I would recommend this to anyone looking to buy a mid sized squirt gun

5Easy pump action, long streams!  Oct 09, 2008 By Optimus Primus
This is a great basic water blaster that shoots streams a loooooooong distance. It holds a lot also. It's perfect for my 10 year old...not too heavy and you don't have to pump it a hundred times!

4Soaker  Nov 25, 2008 By Marcus K. Martin
Strangely enough, I bought this to discipline my dogs when they bark at the fence. They stop when they see the soaker. The soaker shoots quickly and long. I'll try the fun aspects after the weather get warmer.

4great, but not for everybody  Jan 21, 2010 By Uncle Boo
I've has this for over a year, and I'm very happy with it. But understand how it works to be sure it's the right water gun for you. Bottom line: for age 10 and over, and those who are okay with pump action only.

1. Pump action. This gun works by pumping the long-armed front handle to build air pressure and immediately shoot. Which means that you get instant soaking power as soon as you've filled it. but if you want a gun that you pump many times to build up air pressure, and later use a trigger to shoot as needed, then this is not the right gun for you.

2. Distance: On first pump, distance may only be 10 ft. or so. Distance increases with subsequent pumps. By the third pump you'll be shooting a high-volume blast 20-25 ft.

3. Capacity: Large reservoir is enough to thoroughly soak multiple opponents. Reservoir has large opening for quick refill.

4. Durability: So far so good, but... In general, it's solid. Like another reviewer, I bought this for long distance discipline to keep the dogs from barking at the fence, and for this purpose it looks like it will last forever. The kids next door borrow it all the time, and there's been no damage from several drops onto pavement. But: the plastic pump shaft feels a little flimsy and flexes when extended; with adult use it's fine. With careless kid use the pump shaft has bent a little, and I won't be surprised if the shaft breaks this summer. If and when that happens, I'll come back and downgrade the durability rating.

4Decent soaker gun  Sep 15, 2009 By LavaTux
This is a decent, well priced soaker gun. There is no pressure reservoir, however as soon as you start pumping the water stream doesn't start until a critial pressure is reached.
It is a little hard for children under 8 to aim and pump. Also can get a little heavy. The reservoir holds enough water to get someone soaking.
I got exactly what I had hoped for.
