Stearn's child pool & play vest Aug 10, 2010
By add32 Does exactly what we wanted it to do which is keep our child in a up right position instead of on their back when floating. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that my child is near the low end of the weight catagory and it was hard to get the vest tightened enough so it does not ride up on them. Once she grows a little bigger, this will not be an issue

Not what I was hoping for - but it's the next best thing Jul 16, 2010
By thesassywolfe I purchased this life jacket to replace another Stearns product that was wearing out. The one I had was a vest-type jacket that my daughter loved because all the flotation was positioned at arm-pit level or lower. It was very comfortable for swimming because the flotation didn't bunch up around your face like most life jackets. I was hoping this pool & play jacket would be made the same. It looks similar, but the flotation goes all the way up to the neck hole...which causes the flotation-bunching-around-the-face problem we were hoping to avoid. That said, this life jacket is still much more comfortable than the traditional front-buckle jackets you usually see--epecially if your child is a very active swimmer. It's not exactly what I was hoping for, but it's the next best thing I've found on the market.

By mindy sue eaton We are always on the boat or around the ocean. We have a 2 yr old that hated to wear a life jacket because they are so bulky. He loves this life jacket, he can move in it and will wear it all day. This is a must have for anyone parent who has a hard time keeping a life jacket on their child!
