3critique from a sinker  May 12, 2007 By Matthew Y. Sato "agent banana"
I am one of a small percentage of people who has more of a tendency to sink rather than float, so as we prepared to go to Kaua'i, Hawaii I needed a device that would give me some assurance while I snorkled. The Aqua-Cell Swim Belt with 3-modules(I weigh around 150lbs) did the trick. I was able to float around with my family and see all of the tropical fish live and up close.

3Worth the money but...  Jul 21, 2007 By Minu Mumtaz
I recommend the belt over lifejackets any day: It keeps you floating very comfortably and so much less cumbersome! But ONLY for swimmers who are already comfortable in the water but are perhaps not adept swimmers. This belt is definitely worth $10 but the only problem is that it moves upward from your waist towards your chest which is uncomfortable. You have to keep pushing it down towards your waist while in the water. I would recommend spending a little more and get the belt that's one piece and not 3 cells/modules.

2belt strap too thin  Nov 10, 2007 By ardiente
The belt strap seems to cut into my body too much and ride up towards my chest. I've decided to go with a belt with a wider strap to give it more stability, and for it not to cut in.

5Great buy, great for snorkeling  Jan 10, 2010 By Lisa "PA Parent Reviewer"
We bought these for our family to go snorkeling in St. Thomas. They were much more reasonably priced than snorkeling vests and jackets. They were easy to store in our luggage for the plane trip and easy to carry to the beach. As parents, the belts gave us comfort with our kids, especially when the waters got a little choppy. They prolonged our snorkeling time because we did not get tired as quickly as those who did not have the belts. They were not too uncomfortable and we hardly noticed them when we were in the water. However, they are not the most fashionable beachwear.

5swim bubbles  Mar 19, 2009 By Marian Z. Carrillo
good deal and same as ones used at the YMCA, will use at home and for vacations, waist belt allows plenty of mobility and does not interfere with arm paddling.
