A worthwhile purchase especially for the price but.... Mar 08, 2007

I bought these for a recent trip to Jamaica. Thought they would come in handy for walking in areas where there were rocks and other unknown objects on the bottom of the water. The sizing runs a little big so they are a tad loose on me... I normally wear a 13 so you may want to go a size smaller, especially since you wont wear socks with them. While not the lightest pair I have owned they do have great traction on slippery surfaces such as rocks, boat decks etc. Just be sure to glue the liner on the inside bottom of the shoe down as it immediately began sliding around when the shoe got wet. This caused a major problem with having to stop, take the shoe off, re-adjust the insole and put the shoe back on. If Speedo were smart they would design this differently in the future.

After a couple weeks of using these for walking in the pool the bottom tread was wearing off. I would not reccomend these shoes.

Good House Slipper For Damp Climate Jan 19, 2010
By Michael Paul Sebek I've been wearing these water shoes as "house slippers" for the past 10 years. Sure, they eventually wear out, but I have found that they are a great, inexpensive, all-purpose, all-weather, indoor/outdoor shoe suitable for year-round wear in a damp climate. I haven't noticed the odor/poor durability issues mentioned by other reviewers, but remember: these are designed as water shoes for beach wear. Anything more that you get from them should be considered a bonus. I've been getting my bonus for 10 years, based on daily wear - and especially yard work in sometimes wet and soggy, coastal Georgia. I go through 2 or 3 pairs a year; however, in my opinion - for the amount of wear that I DO get out of them - they are well worth the money.

Could be better Jun 24, 2008
By Jewel L. Gray I bought these surfwalkers to use while I am wade fishing. They are ok except for one thing. The inside cushions are not adhered to the bottom hence they move around inside under my feet. I took them out but walking on the uncovered rubber bottom is a bit uncomfortable.

"BE YOUR GUEST - PARTY PLANNER"
I bought these for my husband for father's day, he wears a large size shoe so I was happy to find these in a size 14. Unfortunately, after wearing them for one time, the inside material fell apart. So I had to return them. I'm dissappointed.
