Description

Perfect for occasional use Dec 28, 2009
By V. Lakshmanan I bought both adult and two junior masks for a vacation where we were going to snorkel. My observations:
(1) It's well made. We just threw it into our luggage in between clothes and nothing happened to them. (2) For the money, it's very functional. It's not as nice as the high-end masks, but it's also much less expensive ($15 vs. $80). (3) The breathing tube is a little hard to attach, but you have to do this only once. Do it at home before you go -- it took me about 10 minutes per mask. (4) The junior mask is a little big for a 8-year old. Should be perfect for a 9/10-year old. (5) The adult and junior masks are nearly identical and hard to tell apart (the watertight cusp on the face is smaller on the junior mask, but it's hard to see). Get different colors or use a permanent marker to write names!

By Marga Both my 7yo daughter and I used this set snorkeling in Mexico. It was a little bit large for her and a little small for me, but it still worked. It wasn't very prone to get fogged or to get filled with water. I think it's a good product for the price.
Reasonable but not great Jan 31, 2010
By G. Cabe I am not overally impressed. The silicone on the strap has almost no give (stretch) so adjusting it is difficult. While it fits my 7 year old the mask is rather large for my 4 year old. The snorkels are straight tubes and we traded them out for dry snorkels. For the price I would upgrade to a Cressi which have much better fit and straps.

By seaside whites This snorkel mask was great for my 3-year-old. He enjoyed being able to go out snorkeling with all of us and the mask seemed to fit his small face quite well. The snorkel did have a little trouble with filling up with water, but that was user error and he is only 3.
Bermuda vacation Sep 25, 2009
By Marylander I bought two of these for my boys 7 and 9 because they were on sale. The kids used it during a vacation in Bermuda. They couldn't get the snorkels to work, and I tried too. The lenses were fine, but the snorkels kept leaking water from the bottom no matter what we tried to do. The snorkels doesn't drain at all. In fact, I think they were letting water in. I finally had to let them use my snorkel from another brand, and both kids were able to breathe fine.
FYI, Amazon is amazing with their return policy. After all, if something doesn't work...
