5My favorite  Mar 19, 2009 By Jon Berry "jmbd7h3"
I like these because these are not the super tiny goggles competitive swimmers wear. These are much larger, but still small enough to be swim goggles and not a face mask. This size makes these much more comfortable than anything else I've used. I'd like them better if they were a tiny bit larger because they would be more comfortable when wearing them for more than an hour.

As for the lenses, I use the clear and they are optically clear. I swim indoors and don't need the tint, and I can't stand the colored ones that tint everything you see a certain shade.

The fogging thing is not an issue for me. I put these on dry. They do not leak. I then swim. If I put them on wet at any point, I get some fogging, but nothing unbearable or any where near the other five or six goggles I've used.

This goggle also has a single wide head band. I like this too. The double bands are annoying. The skinny bands are uncomfortable for me.

I'm not sure if there is a better product out there in the market, but this is a really good one. I've tried a half dozen or so of the lower end models, and this is the best I've tried. I'm by no means a competitive swimmer so maybe these would cause too much drag for that; I don't know.

5Comfort at last  Jan 29, 2007 By D. Linker
After trying out over half a dozen different goggles, and having all either fit poorly or dig into the bridge of my nose, I finally found some goggles that are comfortable and work. They also have a wide field of view.

4Good goggles  May 10, 2007 By Myles Collins
After giving up on a much more expensive pair that leaked and fogged I decided to try the Baja. I got them at City Sport in Boston on Jan 2007 for $19.99 and for 5 months have swum once a week for about a mile in a pool. They have been quite good. They fit my face comfortably. They don't leak AT ALL. They don't fog up at all for the first half mile (~18 mins of continuous swimming). After that time they do fog up and if I rinse them they quickly fog up again, which is the only reason I do not give 5 stars in this review. They never fog up so much that I cannot keep swimming but I also need to look at my watch underwater to see my lap times and that gets hard to do for the 2nd half. Nonetheless, barring the discovery of some totally fog-free pair, I would buy them again.

Note: City Sport would not refund or exchange my previous crappy pair because I lost the receipt. I do NOT recommend City Sport!

4Bought for Open Swim 10K  May 10, 2009 By TheTaoRunner "Anthony R. Ellis, M.D."
I bought these goggles for an open water swim. My Speedo Vanquishers are great for Master's swim meets and practices that last 40 minutes with lots of breaks between sets, but the Vanquishers hurt my eyes for long mileage swims.

These Baja goggles worked well. No leaks. More comfortable for long swims, no doubt. I was surprised at how easily they scratch. I'll have to put them in a plastic bag to protect them. Of course that are no good for Master's meets where tenths of a second can matter or competitive swimmers would wear them for comfort too.

They are prone to fogging up after 45 minutes of straight laps, but that won't affect too many recreational swimmers. I plan to use an anti-fog spray next time.

I think they might work well for my 10K swim. I'm also trying out the Aquasphere seal mask for comparison.
