mask and snorkel Feb 18, 2008
By Chip Vickio

excellent value - high quality - very satisfied - the only challenge, for someone inexperienced like me, was how to attach the snorkel to the mask - there were no instructions - there was a ring on the snorkel that obviously was for attaching on the mask so several of us who bought the same mask for our cruise gave it a shot - the simplest way was to just remove one side of the head strap on the mask, insert the strap through the ring that is on the snorkel and put the strap back in place - however, this is very difficult without something to get the strap started through the connector because the tip of the strap would fold over when you tried to push it through - so we used a piece of palm branch we found on the beach (poor us) - that was used as a guide and it worked fine - others slipped part of the ring off the snorkel instead of taking the strap off the mask - regardless, we all got the snorkel attached and everything worked great - which says a lot for the equipment since none of our clumsy efforts broke anything - the rubber was very flexible and sturdy, and we all had a great time!!!

Fair snorkeling set but buyers beware Jan 10, 2009
By D. Park I bought two of these sets for my honeymoon in Maui. Generally ,the snorkel set was usable but definitely not as good as I hoped. Here is a breakdown of my experience:
Pros: -Masks rarely fog up if worn properly. This is the first snorkel set that I've used that actually doesn't fog as often. -It is a strong snorkel mask and very durable.
Cons: -These brand new snorkel sets have a very unpleasant smell to them when opening the package. -The snorkel straps don't stay on and occasionally slip off. -If the snorkel straps slip off the clip, they take patience to put back on through the clip. (This was the most frustrating part. It took me almost 15 minutes to clip it back on.) -Water fills up on the bottom of the snorkel funnel frequently.

Excellent value Sep 03, 2007
By P. Burton I could not have expected a better product for the price. The mask is comfortable and retains its clarity. I have a moustache, which always makes it a little difficult to get a good seal around the nose, but this mask and snorkel perform as well for me as ones I've used at much higher prices.

Great Snorkeling in Caymans Jan 22, 2008
By E. Caraus We bought these a month before our vacation to the Cayman Islands - and they paid themselves off within the first 2 days - rental there is about US$12.50 per day per person. The mask worked great, didn't let water in, and fogged only on two occasions, but overall it's very comfortable, easy to view and breathe. It's somewhat difficult to hook up the snorkel to the mask, it takes two people pretty much to do it. Takes a few swims to get used to snorkeling if it's the first time, but after that it's looking like one of the best things to do. We bought the fins separately from this mask after reading reviews on sets. Would recommend this snorkel set to anyone.
