Great summer time fun! May 26, 2009
By R. Moody Having already owned the single version of this tube I wasn't surprised at all that I'd enjoy this one.
It's the perfect size for two people or the single guy that wants to take along some gear and an ice chest. There was more than enough room for a playmate elite and my pack for the pump and other gear or if I wanted to go all out it would have held my 48qt coleman. It would be a snug fit but very do-able.
Stability on either the single or double version are not a concern as the base of either one is very wide. This double version makes it even more stable even over some of the bigger rapids I hit and it would more than handle waves at the lake.
I though handling and maneuvering this on the river alone might be tricky but it wasn't bad. Its a little hard to paddle when facing fwd but its manageable.
One complaint is the use of a single air compartment for both tubes. Yeah it says 3 air chambers but that includes the two head rests. Personally I'd like to have two separate lower air chambers just in case.

By buttercup We love this tube. It is probably the most comfortable tube we have ever floated on. The dogs even float on it sometimes and it is sturdy enough even for them. Ifyou want to take some time just to float and relax in the water, I highly reccomend this.

By Lou Just spent 3 days floating on the Pemi river in NH. It is not a deep river, We dragged bottom a few times at least. The rafts help up fine, no leaks. We are very happy with the 2 rafts we bought. Only down side is the cup holders. If you sit forward you will have to hold onto your "beverage" you can not leave it in the holder. But don't let that stop you. The onboard cooler can also work real well for dry cloths and towels storage.
