Lots of fun! Jun 23, 2008
By Feenix I bought this toy for my six year old son and two of his friends. It is not huge, but enough for the kids to splash arouns and stay cool. It has a sprinkler, two sprinkler cannons, a small slide, a bouncy deck, wading pool, mast, flag, steering wheel, inflatable treasure chest, six balls, two cannons (you put the balls in there and send them flying), two inflatable pirate hats, two inflatable swords, and two inflatable shields.
Even if the thing only lasts one seaason, he'll have all the other stuff to play with forever! If you are looking for a pool, this isn't it. But as a kiddie pool/lots of other activities it is great! The sides are very sturdy, the sprinklers spray really well, and there is a large drain plug for the water so you don't have to flip it over.

By Kindle Fan Despite somewhat so-so reviews I purchased this play center for my 5-year-old son who is fascinated by pirates. While he really loves this "boat" and all the accessories (2 swords, 2 shields, treasure chest, wheel, flag, and multi-colored cannon balls) I'm less than thrilled. I have two main issues: 1) there is no water drain at the bottom and since the boat is quite large getting all the water out can be difficult. 2) the boat itself does not hold air for more than a few hours. While the treasure chest has 3 inflatable sections, the boat is merely one large inflatable piece -- including slide, mast, cannons. This toy did not hold air from day one. Overall, I can not recommend this product.

A PIECE OF JUNK! Buyer Beware! Jul 21, 2008
By Dawn G. This toys was useless after an hour's worth of play. A 4-year old, weighing no more than 35 lbs, played in it and managed to burst the seam near the slide within 45 minutes. 15 minutes later, it was mostly deflated and he was crying.
For the time it lasted, he had fun with it, in my opinion, it is absolutely NOT worth the risk of having it tear so quickly.

By preschoolmom Love this boat! I call it a boat because (against the warning) we threw it in the in-ground pool for our 5 year old's pirate party. About 6 kids scrambled in and out of it with adults nearby in the pool to toss them back in the pirate boat, what a great time! The kids absolutely loved it. From reading reviews I think it might work better as a float or ball pit instead of a pool. We only paid $20 at Sports Authority! The accessories alone make it a great toy! It took a while to blow it up with an air compressor. We left it inflated for about 2 weeks with water in it before the party, and then let it float in our pool for weeks, with no airleaks, before letting the air out and storing it.

By SLS I bought this for my son at BJ's wholesale (thank goodness it wasn't too expensive there). It is so poorly and cheaply made. First one of the cannons wouldn't stay inflated because the little rubber stopper kept popping out. It was too small for the opening. We only got to use it 3 times before the liner detached from under the slide and caused a leak. It was in a spot that was impossible to patch so their little patch kit they give you was useless. My son cried so much when I told him it was broken. It came with lots of blow up toys which was cool but that is all that is left of the pool. Even though we bought a different pool my son was upset for a long time and still wines about missing his pirate pool. It is so sad. I wrote to the manufacturer twice and they never wrote back. The number on the website just put me on hold and no one ever answered. What a lousy company. Will NEVER buy from them again and yes I do check to see if new items come from that manufacturer. The material the pool is made of is the thinnest most fragile vinyl I have ever come across in my life. Our dollar store toys are more durable than this. If you haven't bought it yet PLEASE CONSIDER ANOTHER BRAND!!
