Natural Chemistry for cloudy water May 17, 2008
By KSKI4JC Before buying Natural Chemistry Spa Perfect, I used another natural product which was supplied with my new tub, and it works great. That product ran out so I tried Spa Perfect, and with 2 new filters and a fresh water change, it only took 1 week for the water to cloud up. I used their product "Clear and Perfect" to get rid of the cloudiness with no sucess. After following their directions for nearly 4 weeks, my tub does not smell, but still has a cloudy, unsatisfactory appearance. The Spa Perfect product is a brown color like dark tea with particulate material floating in it which seems strange. I've e-mailed the company to ask about this with no response from them. My suggestion is to try a different natural product as I intend to do.
EXCELLENT Product Oct 08, 2011
By G. Simons This is a "Must-Have" product for anyone who owns a pool or spa. It cleared up my swim-spa "scum" problem quickly.
Works good May 28, 2010
By R. Harter I have a swim spa that is 1600 gallons so I was out looking for an inexpensive product to use to break down organics. This product works good and does what it advertises. I just wish I looked at the size compared to how much you have to use, this bottle is 16 oz and you have to use 1 oz per 100 gallons, so I had to use the entire bottle for one application. The instructions on the bottle also recommend using it once or twice a week, luckily I get away with using it less often than that because of amount of use. It is a great product for clearing up the water in your spa!
Spa Perfect really is... Feb 12, 2010
By Ed My spa is about 12 years old and the tub looks like brand new. Spa Perfect has keep it looking good and the water clear since early on. Not long after we got the spa, half of the jets got turned off for a long time. This caused stuff to grow in the lines so that even after a water change it would cloud the water. Spa Perfect took care of the problem and we have been using it ever since. Great Product!
Great for Softening the Water and Keeping It Clear! Nov 13, 2009

We have been using this product for just over a month now in our five-plus year old acrylic spa from Gulf Coast Spas (Boca Raton model). It has definitely helped to keep our hot tub water clear and odor free and it makes the water more soothing and enjoyable without adding any fragrance. We use a combination of Sani-Start and Sani-Brom, plus our spa has an ozonator. We also use a floating dispenser with bromine tablets.
Through the years, we have struggled to keep the hot tub clean and clear. Often we had a yellow scum ring and cloudy water. We tried vinegar as suggested anecdotally by a customer service rep at the spa company but it produced a rather toxic smell and fumes - not recommended. Use of the bromine products alone left our skin itchy and dry, and the smell of the chemicals lingered over the hot tub. We are also changing our filter more regularly, and we use a thin, neoprene-like cover cut to fit the shape of the tub underneath a new inflated cover. Prior to that we were using a worn replacement cover that was so heavy it could have killed someone.
Hope this works for you!
