buyer be ware! Jul 14, 2009

I bought this for our daughter who is not 15 months. This is a faulty product. i had it for about a month, we used it a few times a week. We went swimming on July 4 and as always I had my hand on her float. As we were floating around she started to sink right down the middle of her float. I grabbed her before she went onduer water nd we looked at the float. The seam where the leg hole (holder seat) attaches to the iner ring was totally detached, not torn just came right off as if the seal just came off. I fould on July 5 that there has been a national recal for this same problem on other brands of flats very much like this one. however this one is not on the recall list. I called Intex and asked what I should do about it and they said to just buy a new one. I said no I don't want anyone else to get hurt because your product has a fault, and the man I talked to said he gets 148 calls a day and only one call a week has to do with this float having a defect so it is not a problem. I was not impressed, I guess Intex is ok with little ones having accidents in their products. I am so greatful that I always keep a grip on my little one because if I had not benn holding her she would have gone underwater fast! I think one case of a float having a defect is one case to many. Please be careful with this product and be aware that there is a defect in it that allows a child to go underwater when the seam comes off. Intex dows not care about our children but I do. Please be careful!

Great concept but... Mar 19, 2009

I bought this for my 6 month old, it works great serves its purpose but the seat area does hurt baby and it uncomfortable as it rides between her legs and diaper. It is only about 2 inches wide and will ride up where it can. For her it was between her leg and diaper. I think the seat area should have been wider more broad.

Does its job well Apr 02, 2010
By Derek Peterson The float is inexpensive but it does the job of keeping the baby upright and floating quite well. The only complaint that I have is that there is so much material close to the baby with the two tubes that the baby has a tough time reaching the water...but the tubes keep the baby upright which is the most important thing. The toy probably could be made better if there was more spacing between the two tubes so that the baby could reach the water with their hands.
DO NOT BUY....UNSAFE! Apr 13, 2012
By Granny Sherry Float broke on bottom while toddler niece was inside...Praise the Lord she was in the shallow end of the pool and was ok. Do not recommend this float at all!!alliance
Good, safe floatie for the price Aug 01, 2010
By samp1 nothing spectacular, but it did its job. However, my 6 mo old is pretty skinny and would slide down in the seat after awhile, but he liked floating around in it. I think a float with a mesh seat would work better, but for the price, this worked quite well.
