Hoppy Frog pool review Jun 15, 2009
By Jennifer MacGregor The Hoppy Frog pool is absolutely adorable. I wanted something that would blend in with our back patio decor and the simple green color does the job nicely. The spray feature, however, was disappointing. I liked this pool in particular because the water was pictured as spraying directly back into the pool. When we connected the hose the water sprayed out creating a large wet puddle in front of the pool. This wouldn't be a problem if we had a grassy area, but it is not safe on our patio surface. We tried to adjust the sprayer, but it is glued in place and will not turn. I requested that Amazon send a replacement, but I have not received any response.

lots of fun for toddler May 03, 2009
By dcubed I bought this pool last summer for my son who was then 18 months old. I found it at a large discount store (red bullseye)and was skeptical how long it would last. But for less than [...] bucks I thought we'll give it a try. Since then, we have inflated and deflated this pool at least 30 times and there were no leaks! Of note, we used this pool on shaded concrete/patio. We even took it with us to grandma's house and used it in her yard and it held up. Another big plus is the water spray - this was really a big hit with our son and the neighbor's kids. I also like how there is a drain in the bottom. You usually don't find baby pools this size with a drain in the bottom.

It is what it is... a nice little blow up pool and sprinkler. Jul 28, 2010
By Ingrid I like this little pool for a few reasons... 1 - It just works. Nothing's ripped, nothing's broken, nothing's falling apart or disappointing me in any way. 2 - You can use it as a sprinkler - turn the hose to "high" - and it will spray 20 feet up into the air and "rain" down on you... or it can be a very gentle sprinkler - turn hose to "low" - and it will just sprinkle gently into the pool. 3- Both my 3 year old and my 1 year old enjoy playing in it. Tho sometimes they can't seem to use it at the same time - the baby wants the sprinkler on "low" and the 3 year old wants it on "high"...and that causes a struggle... but that certainly isn't an issue with the product itself. :) 4- It certainly is "cute"... I do like how it looks on our lawn, even if we've left it out for a couple days...
I'd give it 5 stars, but... I don't know... it seems like 5 stars should be reserved for products where you are truly blown away by them. This one was is a good little kiddie pool, but I wouldn't say I was utterly amazed by it or anything.
Great first pool Sep 01, 2011
By Wondermom We've had this little frog pool for 3 years now, and it's held up well. No leaks or problems. We've used it only on grass--usually not perfectly level ground. We rarely leave it inflated for more than a few days at a time, and always empty it of water after each use. It's great for infants and up to two small children. I can't see fitting more than that in this little pool. It's really just a splashing pool, since the water is probably only 4-8 inches deep, depending on how full you fill it, plus there's the sprinkler feature in the middle that works if you keep the hose attached with the water running. I do like that it offers shade. Because of its small size, it inflates (and deflates) pretty quickly--especially if you have pump. It doesn't take a long time to fill. You can set it up in any patch of shade in your yard, even if the ground is not level, because (again) it's really just a splash pool that holds a little bit of water inside. For toddlers, it's plenty of fun.
Good, but could be better. Jun 17, 2011
By JamesB We were looking for a kiddie pool that could give us a little shade as we live in quite a sunny area. The shade provided by the pool is adequate, but could be better. We already think that we are going to have to add some additional shade if we want adequate coverage. The pool is super cute and does appear to be somewhat durable, but this will remain to be seen as we use it over the summer. As with some of the other reviews, the sprinkler on the front does not appear to be aligned just right and for the most part just sprays water in front of the pool. This feature would be much better if the water actually sprayed INTO the pool as it would really cut down on the mess.
Pros: -Simple to use, just inflate and fill. -Super cute. -Little one loves playing with the legs.
Cons: -Poor sprinkler construction. -Some shade provided, but would like more. -Inflatable, so likely to leak at some point.
