Description
Alkalinity is critical to pH control, this granular formula effectively raises alkalinity levels. Low alkalinty levels can cause equipment corrosion, pH bounce and water discoloration. Compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone and biguanide sanitizers. For best results, dissolve granular products first by adding to a small, plastic pail filled with water. Allow water to circulate for 30 minutes. Sart-Up Instructions: Add 1 oz (2 tbsp) to spa water. Allow water to circulate for 30 minutes. Retest water and repeat Steps 1 and 2 until the desired level is reached.

Alkalinity Increaser does the job Dec 07, 2011
By robertswww This Leisure Time product did a good job of raising the total alkalinity in my hot tub and also boosted the pH to the proper levels. It is a granular product that is ground very finely and it dissolves quickly in the hot water. The active ingredient is Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate.
