Great Product! Oct 05, 2010

I've owned a hot tub (spa) for six months now. I keep my chemicals up to speed and wash my filters regularly. Once in a while, despite my regular efforts, perhaps every three weeks, the water will turn cloudy. I tried adding chlorine (one tablespoon, as recommended by my store) but that does not help. Using this Leisure Time Spa Bright and Clear is the magic ticket! It turns cloudy water into absolutely clear water within six hours. This stuff is magic, the last item you need besides regular maintenance of chemicals and filter washings, to keep the water in your spa clear and bright.

I use this in my hot tub - it is the most effective clarifier I have tried. I highly recommend it.

Revived our spa after a "gunk attack" Apr 18, 2012
By Anonymouse We're new spa owners and still learning to keep the water happy. Well, we opened the lid after about 5 days of non-use last week and there was sludge all around the edge. Smelly and disgusting.
So, we drained and refilled and did the whole chemical start-up mumbo jumbo. And even though the chemicals were balanced, the water was still cloudy and stale smelling. So I headed out yesterday and got this stuff, which I'd heard worked well. I followed the instructions and, lo and behold, all the ick in the water started coagulating together and made it simple to scoop out with a strainer (didn't want to overload my filter with it, but a lot went in there, too). It was enough that I still had to wipe down the edges of the tub around the water line, so I think there was still sludge hidden in the pipes.
I checked in the tub this morning and the water is absolutely sparkling and inviting again. This is definitely staying in my repertoire of spa maintenance must-haves.

Nice product. I use this occasionally to supplement the chlorine, and the water stays nice and clear. It helps make basic maintenance simple, which is all I can ask.
Better than the rest Oct 27, 2011
By MrMike I've been using SeaKleer from SpaDepot.com for about a year now and never really noticed a change when i put it in my hot tub every week for maintenance. I literally just came inside from putting this stuff in my tub (2oz, the recommended dosage), ran jets for ~3min then turned them off.... amazing how much clearer and i'd say 'brighter' the water was... no kidding. This stuff does work and i will be buying going fwd. As reference, i use Nature2 (not clorine or bromine) with MPS shock. There is low load on the tub (used 1/wk with kids) and i do water changes 2x/yr. unless something requires a fresh change. Excellent product!
