Description
Leisure Time Spa Up is a fast-dissolving granular product that gently adjusts water pH and alkalinity upward. Compatible with chlorine, bromine and biguanide sanitizers. Use as part of the Simple Spa Care Program. It is important to maintain the water's pH between 7.2-7.8. Low pH below 7.2) can cause corrosion and excessive sanitizer useage Compatible with chlorine, bromine and biguanide sanitizers. Applications: As Needed: 1) Make sure all equipment is OFF. 2) Add 1/4-ounce (1-1/2 tsp.) to the spa water. 3) Turn on circulation system for 30 minutes. 4) Retest water. If pH is still below 7.2 repeat steps 1-3. Tips: For best results, dissolve granular products first by adding to a small, plastic pail filled with water. Then, apply the solution to the spa water.

Just use Baking Soda Sep 09, 2010
By Stephanie Reid-Simons Against my better judgement, I bought this to bring the ph of my spa up. I figured it must have something in it that would make it better than baking soda, right? I mean, it's designed for use in a spa. Look closely at the bottle. The only ingredient is sodium bicarbonate. Also known as baking soda. Save yourself some money and get a big bag of Arm and Hammer (or store brand!) next time you're at the grocery store.

By Steve "DJ PA" If your looking to increase just Ph, DO NOT buy this product. It will send your alkalinity levels through the roof! It is 100% Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda). What you want is 100% Sodium Carbonate (Soda Ash).
