Water rocket fun May 12, 2010
By Edward F. Rosenfeld This water rocket brings back many fond memories from my youth. It was enjoyable to watch my four-year-old grandson pump the rocket and then watch it soar over the fence. With a more energetic 15 pumps, it will soar 100 ft or more into the air. Good clean fun and very safe. One must be careful with the pump since the plastic is a bit more flimsy than the metal plunger pumps of 40 years ago but the rocket is inexpensive so just buy another one if it breaks!

I bought three, two of them broke within 1 minute of unwrapping, the third within 10 minutes. in each of them, the pump shaft broke off while pumping - total Chinese pieces of crap. Don't waste your money.

By jim w. I read the reviews and was a little worried but the rocket worked just fine. You need to pump it about 20 times to get a decent launch. After reading the reviews I am careful with the pump so have not broken the handle yet. The kids all had a blast.

By Roni Gabbay the toy is supposed to be for kids age 4 & up, but practically less then 8 year olds didn't have the strength to use it. It was fun to play with, but the seal can fall and needs to be returned, and also the landing surface should be soft - not pavement or road, which damaged the rocket.
