Bought it last summer and again this year May 11, 2010

I contacted amazon and they had me ship it back and shipped a new one out to me very quickly. No charge for either shipping. The second slide was great and was used at least 5 days a week for the entire summer in the hot Florida sun. Towards the end of the summer the kids even turned it over and used it as a boat in the water. That may have been its ultimate undoing as it did not survive the summer. However, I very much felt that I got my money's worth and have purchased another for this summer's swimming season. Have already had it in service for three weeks and the kids (ages 4 and 8) are once again loving it. I do agree with other reviewers that this is not for teens. Once you hit around 100 lbs it is not nearly as fun; however, my 65 lb and under kids are simply loving it! Here's to hoping it survives at least until the end of this summer!

I bought the slide in April. The first day it was fine, and my kids (40 and 65 lbs.) had fun on it. The next time we came outside, the slide had deflated slightly. We continued to use the slide sparingly.
Recently, I decided to find the leak and to patch it. I used soapy water in a squirt bottle to locate the leak on the upper left hand portion of the slide. The seam had separated with the tear/hole being about 1/4" in length. Being on the seam (and towards the top of the slide), the hole is nearly impossible to patch. I had resigned myself to blowing up the slide whenever the kids wanted to use it.
However, the last time my kids were using the slide, the water stopped coming out of one of the sprinkler fittings at the top. When I moved the slide later, I found that it had a lot of water inside the slide. I tried to air the slide up again, only to have air now leaking out of the water hose connector. The slide is now worthless (about 60 days after purchase and approximately 5 times being used.)
I contacted Intex and was told that there is "zero warranty from Day 1." Wow! What a crock. Intex, you will never get one more red cent out of me or my family. Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage.

By C. Schoen I bought this slide for my two kids, age 4 and 6. They are really enjoying it, and it seems to be good quality. It was easy to set up. I would say older kids such as teenagers would not like it as much because the heavier you are, the slower you slide down.

By Poppa I ordered this slide for my grandson's birthday. I waited until about a week before his birthday because I'm a procrastinator. It was shipped and delivered a couple days before his birthday. Needless to say, it's been one of the outstanding hits of the summer around their family pool, and all his friends were able to use and enjoy it for his birthday party.
So far, it's holding up to the wear and tear a group of 10-12 year olds can administer.
It's a great way of doing business. I saved time and money by doing it the Amazon.com way. Thank you, Amazon!

Steps are great, big slide surface, extra inflated section at bottom of slide drops kids well past edge of pool, right in the center...very safe. Easy to set up & tons of fun for the kids..bought it for a birthday gift...delivered it early so could be used for birthday party....12 kids, ages 6-9 played for hours. Now it's cooling off, we'll have to see how it does next year after put away for the summer.
