Good Pool Good Buy Sep 14, 2005
By J. Stella The pool holds plenty of water and is colorful and inviting for the kids! The padding on the bottom is especially nice to cushion harder surfaces. Granted--a lot of inflation was needed, but we also bought the hand pump and that did the job (and gave us some exercise--but it did not wear us out--and we're grandparents)! I found the plug drain in the bottom no problem at all. We pulled the plug and came back later and all that was left was a little puddle in one corner. The height of the sides was great, but I would have liked it a little longer in length. Bottom line--this was a great buy!

Cool Pool! Sep 07, 2005
By Laura C. Foster My husband and I are in our late 40's and just wanted a way to cool off this summer. This pool is so comfy for our old bones. We love the padded bottom feature! (Never seen this before) It is very easy to blow up and holds the air and water well. We are delighted to have found this pool. It keeps us cool and young.

By JR I got this pool for our back garden - I have a toddler and I'm heavily pregnant - I wanted a pool that was comfortable for both of us to sit in. And it's PERFECT.
The aircushioned bottom is great for letting my toddler jump and land and splash around without hurting himself, and the sides are robust enough for me to lean against. Also they are robust enough for him to lean against from the outside and play with his boats in the pool (obviously only when supervised!) Because of the cushioned bottom, I could quite easily spend hours justing sitting in there; it's really comfortable.
We got a little electric pump and it took no time to pump up, and although it takes a while to empty the water out of the bottom valve, you can do it without any effort (no heaving and tugging to turn it upside down).
We're really happy with it.

This is our second inflatable kiddie pool. Our first (different product) lasted 3 years and rather than patch it, we bought this item to replace it -- BIG MISTAKE. The new pool is easier to inflate than our last one, because all of the rings inflate though a single valve, and it's attractive and a good size, but that's where my praise stops. The single-valve advantage also has a down-side: if there is a leak in any of the side rings, the entire pool deflates. Ours held air for about 2 hours, then got soft - but still held water enough for my 1 and 4 year old to play in. After 4 hours it was unusable. We've now patched the valve for the sides and found at least two other seam leaks and we've only had the thing out of the box for less than a week. We're experienced kiddie pool owners, so I'm confident this isn't a over-inflated pool, nor is it resting on an unsuitable surface, it's just a cruddy product. I'd return it if I still had the packaging. I regret this purchase and will now spend the time to patch my first pool, if that doesn't work, I'll replace it with its identical product.

this pool is a great step up from a baby pool. my girls are 2 1/2 and 6 and love it. it's deep enough for really getting wet and not too huge like some inflateables. it's very comfortable for even a 6' adult to lounge around in. i bought it because of the drainage plug - a major timesaver, and the inflateable bottom. i gave it 4 stars because the seam on the inner ring split a tiny bit after a week, but my girls did jump in it like trampoline for 3 days before we filled it. i would buy another.
