Mom from Texas Jul 02, 2003 My son received this for his birthday and loves it. We have taken it to the pool many times and have not had any problems with it. It is very stable in the water and easy to get on and stay on. I would definitely recommend it.

great fun! Jul 24, 2003 When I got this, I was so happy, I saw it as sorta like my own pet! *giggle* Once I had got him blown up in my bed room, I sat on him and pretended to be on the sea. My mum and dad then took me to the pool and I had a really fun time, he felt so real, when my dad pushed me from behind, it felt like he was swiming with me!..

this float is HUGE! I got it for my 2 yr old because another review said that it had a wide stance and it didnt tip over easily. I never expected it to be the size of an area rug! My daughter absolutely loves it. it is the talk of the pool this summer. i get oous and awws every pool i go to. i think we will name him soon. ha.
have to note that i only had it about a month before it got a hole. it just had 5 year olds and a 2 year old about twice a week on it. bummer.

Stable, Fun, and Cute Sep 02, 2010
By A We found the Turtle to be very stable in the water. This was especially important after the kids' experiences with the "Ride-On Shark" also made by Intex. That thing was a death trap, flipping the kids upside down without warning -- even older kids who felt at home in the pool didn't want to ride it twice. But not so with the Turtle! Everyone loved it (from age 3 and up to teens). The wide stance of the oversized Turtle limbs and head made it very stable in all directions. And on dry land, the kids had fun just laying and playing on it too! And the price is a fantastic value. I'm pretty sure this will serve our family well for years to come.

Fun at float night Nov 29, 2010
By thmcg My nine year old daughter begged for this for float night at our community pool. It lasted the summer with many kids hanging on it and pulling at it in the pool. Hopefully we will get next summer out of it too.
