1Does not fit Lafuma recliner! Don't cheap out like I did!  Aug 16, 2009 By Paul Haase
The laces are too short (by feet, not inches) and the tabbie things on the end are too fat for the Lafuma recliner. As a result, you can't double-lace the places that were doubled-up originally (both because there's not enough length of lace and because the tabs on the ends of the laces won't fit through the grommets a second time when there's already a section of lace in 'em).

Oh, you can struggle for an hour or two to make it sort of work as I did, but you'll end up with an uncomfortable recliner that is stretched too tight and yet sags in places--think of it like a face lift gone wrong and you'll have something of the idea. So don't cheap out like I did...

And don't tell me I was lacing it incorrectly! I had a second Lafuma lounger on hand from which to copy the lacing pattern, and it just couldn't be done. When the laces on this other recliner wear out, I won't buy these replacements for it, that's for certain!

To be fair, these laces might well fit a Faulkner knock-off chair just fine. But they don't fit a Lafuma, in contradition to what the ad copy says above.

3anti gravity chair replacement cord  Sep 14, 2011 By MJP
Easy to work with but the pieces were a bit thinner and shorter that needed for the chairs we'd purchased four years ago or more at Kohls. Ended up using two kits for one chair, but do have a functional anti-gravity chair again.

3zero gravity replacement elastic bands  Sep 30, 2010 By zeecque
This product has worked well, but is not easy to replace. Little info about avoiding prolonged exposure to UV rays was the reason my lacing deteriorated. When left stored in sunlight, it should be covered with some form of cover.
My own experience with the install of new banding is against their recommendations of working with one side at a time. When working them simultaneously,(back and forth) you'll see they install evenly spaced between the webbed fabric and the side frames. Better instruction details would have helped - especially how best/ where to start the procedure, as well as applying as much tension initially as possible.
PS: Newer models have the lacing doubled up throughout-and to order this properly without a model # will make for greater difficulty for customers making this purchase in the future.

4The laces work great  Sep 07, 2011 By Rollin D Crittendon
The lacing holds up very well once installed.

Caveat, do not use pliers to pull the tabs through the eyelets. It can break the tabs.
Use something like a screwdriver to push the tabs through.

4Worked well, but needed to file down tips to fit thru eyelets  May 17, 2011 By golpher
The product worked out well. I found out that the tips of the lacing wouldn't fit thru the eyelets especially when you had to run lacing thru the same eyelet at strength points of chair. I was able to file down the sides of the tips so they were thinner and easier to work with. I recommend the product but just be aware that you may have to go thru the same thinning process I did.
