Bit of a hassle. Aug 29, 2009

We were excited about this pool, but it was bigger than we anticipated causing a bit of a hassle to find a place to put it where it wouldn't destroy the grass as it could not be moved once filled and is so big it also take lots of water. It could be a danger leaving it out where a child could fall in unnoticed.
The biggest disappointment was that the top air ring won't hold air (glad it wasn't the bottom, or second one#. There are instructions on doing something to take out part of the area the air goes in and soaking it in boiling water to make it bigger so as to keep the air from escaping, but it is a hassle so we have just put up with it so far.
ALSO - IMPORTANT - is that one must be very careful to place it where the bottom won't be pierced by anything sharp or jagged both for keeping water in the pool and to keep those using it safe. We finally put it on our deck on top of a layer of cork and a blue tarp on top of that. We also wanted to place it where we would be able to see it most of the time and control who was using it for safety sake.
On the positive side - If you know you can accomodate this size pool easily it would be wonderful for the children from 4years to 80yrears as it would give them plenty of room and it is deep enough to add to the fun. *** Young children absolutely have to be supervised at all times in this pool.*** It is also a pretty pool.

By Loves to Cook Bought this for my 2 grandchildren (2 and 7 years old), and they loved it! I also have a Banzai Sidewinder water slide, but that takes a lot of time setting up and even more to clean it and put it away after each use. This pool is ideal for days when we don't want to waste all that time and the kids just loved playing in it. It's roomy and they played twice as long in this pool as compared to the water slide and just amused themselves playing with their daddy, toys and water balloons. Like the other reviewer mentioned, the bottom has to be protected from sharp objects because it is thin, but ours is set on our lawn with a tarp underneath of it to protect the grass. Putting it away is a breeze because unlike other inflatable pools, each of the 3 inflatable sections has its own air valve and air release holes (with rubber plugs and covers) to make deflating the pool a breeze. Yes, it takes a bit longer to fill up since you need to fill up 3 chambers, but it stands even if one is loosing air (has not happened to us yet).
This pool IS LARGE. Even grown ups fit well (and do go into it), needless to say kids have tons of fun in it.
The water drain hole could have been a bit bigger given the size of the pool itself, but this is a minor problem.
The bottom could be pierced quite easily, so watch out!
If you set it up on the grass, any small hole will start losing water.
Unexpectedly, setting this up (already with a hole) on a paved surface did not lead to any water leaks, as the weight of water sealed the hole by just pressing the bottom against the pavement.
Hole was easy to fix a repair kit from the bike store ($4).
Overall, very nice toy. Bottom could have been done thicker for this price, hence only 4 stars.

By Steven This is a great pool for cooling off on those warm summer days. Perfect to pack up and take along where ever you go. Its fast to fill and deflate with its 3 large air valves. It takes up very little space when storing for winter months. Also having a drian plug in the floor is great! You can open the drain to let the water out and not have to deflate the pool each time you want to add new water like you have to do with most other inflatable pools. Would buy this pool again!
