Description

Faulkner Recliners have unsurpassed ergonomic design. Both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, Faulkner offers the ultimate lounging experience. Our mesh recliners are great for humid and pool environments because the polyester mesh does not absorb moisture. The mesh also allows your back to breathe and keep cool on hot days. Padded armrests and a high density foam pillow add to the comfort. Faulkner Mesh Recliners are lightweight at 30lbs, but also incredibly strong with a 350lb weight allowance. Faulkner Recliners also feature the zero gravity position to allow you to achieve superior relaxation. This position is reach when the legs are elevated above the heart, increasing your circulation and decreasing stress on your spine. A lock allows you to stay in this position, or any angle from the upright position. Fully accessorize your recliner with these items also available on Amazon: Black or white serving tray, carry bag, pocket pouch, replacement lacing, and recliner towels.

5Mesh is Better than Padded  Sep 21, 2009 By Eric Kahn "waterise"
We purchased two XL Faulkner Recliners about 6 months ago. We could not decide between padded and mesh so we got one of each, both in dark green colors. The stitching is good, the fabric is strong, and the frames are of fine quality. But the padded dark green chair faded to a light blue within two months of being outdoors. The durability in the dye that was used on an outdoor product is unsatisfactory. The mesh chair still looks great. Both are very comfortable.
One reviewer suggested buying the XL chairs, even if you are not big. We followed his advice. While we have not tried the regular sized chairs, neither of us are big either. I find the XL chairs difficult to recline, because my feet don't reach the foot bar, and they need to in order to change the chair's position. I feel very silly, like a little child trying to operate an adult's reclining chair. My estimate is that you would not like the XL sizing so much unless your inseam is greater than 32". I wish we had bought the standard-sized units and saved $20 each.

5Exactly what I wanted~Fits a tall large famed person so nicely.  Jun 29, 2010 By kindred spirit
I am almost 6 foot tall. I had been reading for months different reviews when I came upon a review for the standard version of this chair that recommended getting the XL. I had never had the XL come up on a search. I was thrilled. I totally agree that mesh is best. My swing is also mesh and it is going to be 5 years old this fall. It is still in great shape.

This chair is so easy to get in and out of. I have very bad knees and low chairs are hard for me to get out of this is not low. I can get up with no problems. I loved that the weight limit is 350 pounds making me well over 110 pounds from the limit. In some reviews people who where larger spoke of their bottom hitting the support bar, mine doesn't and has a god 3 inch clearance.

I have multiple back issues and this is so comfortable to relax in. I would love it if it came with a second head rest to put at the foot area. My feet are just kind of floating which is ok but a pillow would be great.

It is a bit heavy but I am able to carry it the short distance from my garage to the backyard. I am not leaving it outdoors when not in use just to preserve it's life. I am sure it would be fine but why leave it out if I can make it last even longer.

So if you have hesitated and worried about weight limits this is a perfect fit. I am as I said just 1/4 inch shy f 6 ft and a size 16-18W and it is just perfect for me. Hope you love your as much as I love mine. You cannot beat free shipping on a heavy item like this either.

5Nice Chair  Jan 29, 2011 By Richard R. Reed
I am very pleased with this chair although I have only had it a few weeks. Comfortable to sit in and almost long enough for a person 6' 4" tall (2 inches longer would be great). The padded chair may be slightly more comfortable but I hope this material will last longer when used outdoors for camping.

5Bought as gift.  May 11, 2009 By Joan M. Stephens
Bought this as a gift for son and wife -- I spend lots of time outside smoking when we visit. They liked it and said it was REALLY comfy!

4Well built but retains water  Dec 27, 2011 By James Bowdren
This chair is very comfortable especially with the extra length and I am only 5' 9". It was hard for my wife who is 5' 0" to operate. Quality seems very good and I also bought the clamp on side table which is very useful. Only complaint is the weave is very tight so rain water does not drain that well compared to our other outdoor weave chairs. I have to brush the water off and wait for it to dry.
