Description
Faulkner Recliners have unsurpassed ergonomic design. Both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, Faulkner offers the ultimate lounging experience. Our mesh recliners are great for humid and pool environments because the polyester mesh does not absorb moisture. The mesh also allows your back to breathe and keep cool on hot days. A high density foam pillow adds to the comfort. Wood armrests add class and distinction to this recliner. Faulkner Mesh Recliners are lightweight at 30lbs, but also incredibly strong with a 350lb weight allowance. Faulkner Recliners also feature the zero gravity position to allow you to achieve superior relaxation. This position is reach when the legs are elevated above the heart, increasing your circulation and decreasing stress on your spine. A lock allows you to stay in this position, or any angle from the upright position. Fully accessorize your recliner with these items also available on Amazon: Black or white serving tray, carry bag, pocket pouch, replacement lacing, and recliner towels.

Heaven in a chair Jul 21, 2007

This is one incredibly comfortable chair. This chair has supplanted my adirondack chairs as my favorite backyard respite. It is great for sunning, reading, and even napping. I am not a napper, and I've fallen asleep in the reclining position a few times already.
The chair seems quite sturdy, and has doubled-up bungee cord where the tension is the highest. The Mesh is quite comfortable against the skin, and breathes even on a very hot day.
Don't think you will be able to sit in this chair for a 'couple of minutes' to rest. I guarantee you will be there a long time.
Unless you're very picky about the color (as my wife is), I'd go with the simple green XL mesh. I think it's $20 less than this one.
My only concerns: It is hard to get into and out of because I don't think you can just 'plop' into this chair unless you're less than 110 lbs, and I'm not sure about the long term durability of the wooden inserts.

Faulkner /Recliner Oct 14, 2008
By RLD The Faulkner Recliner arrived in excellent condition and as pictured. It is a little difficult to recline and the locking mechanism squeakes as though it is not holding the reclined position. However it is as comfortable as described.

Not a "zero gravity" chair at all Jan 05, 2011
By Tom Plunket I'm 6'2" and could not sit comfortably in this chair. My partner is 5'8" and she fit in the chair but it did not meet the "zero gravity" expectation in any way. The chair was wholly uncomfortable for both of us so we sent it back.
Recliner chair Apr 16, 2012
By Dan Received the recliner very quickly and happy with it. Very comfortable for a 220 lb person. Good quality. A bit expensive. I still have not seen replacement canvas/material offered for these chairs.
