4Better than I thought  Aug 20, 2010
Well, I wasn't expecting to like this. I bought it for indoors for watching movies and playing video games. I needed something I could move out of the way when not watching TV so I could hook up my Racing wheel and racing seat when gaming. The clamps that you can switch on work well enough but you can still slide back or forward so, that could be made better. Edges are a little sharp on the arm rest. The worst thing I don't like, is the bar where your feet go. This bar running across needs to be removed, if your barefoot or just in your socks or sitting in this thing like a chair, well me anyways, my feet rest on it in any position and it is way uncomfortable. I would saw this bar off but I think it might also help the stability of the chair. This is the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. It's also noisy, like squeaky noisy when your moving to adjust the position and sometimes just when you shift your body like reaching for a drink. It was a hundred bucks so I wasn't expecting perfection. It's more comfortable over all than I thought it would be. It won't beat a lazyboy for relaxing, but you can't just fold up a lazyboy and put it away. Overall I'm happy with it. I bought the tray that goes with it and I'll review that as well but not here, this is just for the chair.

4Relaxing  Jul 22, 2010
The minute this package arrived in the mail I opened it, stretched it out & sat down and told my husband that it may just become household furniture (JOKE). AHHHHHHHH yes was my feeling at the moment. Exactly what I was looking for. The adjustable pillow really makes it. My only complaint is that the velcro for the pillow may not last but I can rig something up to make it work forever. I can't wait to go camping, sit down, recline & check out the stars in comfort! Bought the attachable tray & a sun shade which is removable to go with it.

4Couldn't love it more!  Jun 25, 2010
This is a wonderful chair. First off, it is incredibly comfortable. I've sat in it for hours at a time and it provides the perfect chair to read or nap in. Oddly the material does not seem to get that hot, even in the sun, and dries very quickly afer a rainstorm. It is also pretty sturdy. I keep it outside 24/7 and although we've had some strong thunderstorms this season with strong winds I always find it standing upright. I also haven't had any problems with rusting. Overall I love, love, love this chair. I did a lot of research before buying it because I wanted something that would be comfortable, but not overpriced and I think I got the perfect marriage of affordability (especially compared to similar versions) and comfort.

5Love this chair  Jun 01, 2010
I have not done any comparative research, but my sons and I love the comfort of this chair. It is sharp looking and easy to use. No problems with assembly.

5Life saver for a herniated back problem  Apr 23, 2010
This chair is a life saver for me. I have a herniated disk in my lower back, and this is the only place where I can find a position that is not agony. I have been sleeping in it as well as spending period 5-10 minutes stints to decompress the spine during the day. These short sessions allow me a few minutes where I can sit sonewhere else or walk a short distance to get something.

A friend loaned it to me but I am planning buy one of my own as soon as I am better.

Note I am 5'2" and this chair is easy for me to operate. I think the people who had trouble operating it did not do the following: When you want to recline you need to lightly push up on the lower bar with your feet and with your back on the back of the chair. When you want to get up you need to lightly push with your calves on the canvas and not push with your back on the back of the chair. The chair is basically a lever :-)
