Good fit not too bulky Aug 28, 2011
By Hobo Lady I am a lady and I wear a Woman's size 18-22 depending on style, brand, etc. and I am, lets just say, a little top heavy. I know that often sports gear is small for the size it says on it - for instance often I will pick something up that says XL and it is really like a Medium. I was very happy that this vest fit with plenty of room to spare! My husband tried it on and he is an 2xl Tall (6'7") and it was too small for him (He could buckle it but it had to be let all the way out and was too tight) and super short kinda like a mid-riff shirt - so I would not recommend it for a big guy. I bought him a 6X in another brand instead.
I also like that this vest is not bulky in the armpits at all. I can wear it and row the canoe and it doesn't bunch up or shift much and I don't feel trapped which happens sometimes with these style vests.
All in all a great price and worth the purchase. I would buy this again or recommend it to folks my size or a little bigger but like I said... not a tall guy for sure!

By gochcl Love the life jacket. The sleeves are a nice open fit so I will be able to swim around easily. It fits great just the way it came and it also has adjustable straps so I could even make it larger if needed. It is only 40 degrees out now and winter so I won't be able to try it in the water until summer but it was safety approved so it should be great.I don't know how I could have gotten a better fit, very pleased with it.

By Haynecort Used our life vests for snorkeling and boating. Comfortable fit! Whats lacking is a crotch strap so the vest goes up to your neck when your treading water. But when swimming its fine.

This vest was a perfect fit for me, looks great and I feel i have full range of motion (i.e paddling, kayak or canoe)I am 5,7 and approx 150lbs, fits like a glove. A body glove get it! =) We are going to order another for my wife as well. cant beat the price great deal! shipping was great also, received item on time and no hassels.
