We didn't have much luck with this slide ... Jul 13, 2010 I recently purchased this slide from K-mart. It was on sale ($39.99 from $59.99). All I can say is, I'm sure glad I didn't pay full price for it! The directions on set up, in my opinion, are poorly written. I didn't have any problems with rips or tears like some other reviewers did, however, I agree that the picture on the box is a bit deceiving compared to what you actually get. The kids were very patient while I set it up (which took awhile), but then they only slid on it for 10-15 minutes and then they had enough ... I honestly think they would have more fun running in a sprinkler and playing with water guns! If I could do it over again, I wouldn't waste the money ...
3D Shark Bite Water Slide is worthless Jul 09, 2010 My 7 year old received this water slide for his birthday. He had a wonderful time playing with it on that day. The 3D effects were OK but not that spectacular. When we went to set it up a second time the plastic had ripped around where the hose attaches making it worthless and unusable. You would think for $35.00 it would last more than once.
Broke after first run Jun 01, 2010 Waste of money! It broke after using it for the 1st time. The shark would not stay up so we just pitched that, then the hose connector broke. :( Don't buy this piece of junk.
huge picture of shark is a huge disappointment Nov 29, 2009 My son wanted this for his birthday and was quite upset when the actual product was inflated. The box shows what appears to be a enormous shark to slide through. The actual shark is less than three feet tall and three feet long. The worst thing is the quality. The first time it was used the slide started to rip from the "pool" section. After setting it up 3 times it came right off. Don't wast your money on this piece of junk. If you do, make sure your local waste management service will recycle the plastic material.
Ok slip-n-slide Nov 02, 2009 I recently bought this for my son's birthday party. I thought it was going to be a lot of fun. It ended making a huge mess. The water shooting holes don't shut over the slide, they shot out in my yard. Also, the shark mouth is not attached. It kept falling over. The kids eventually didn't even want it on the slide. However, the kids still seemed to have fun. I guess it was an ok slide after all.
