5Worked for us!  Jun 15, 2010 By Happy Mom
I purchased this pool 3 years ago and finally after much use it has started to give up the ghost. This pool worked well for my 2 year old twins and 5 year old. It works fine, the weight of the water holds up the sides. We paired it with one of those little tykes climbing structure with a slide having the slide go into the pool-- and water slide! The kids loved it. I loved that you didn't have to inflate the entire pool, only the top rim. The best part is that you can fold it up and put it away neatly. I have the other kind of inflatable pools and after the first use they are useless. The material survived the hot Sacramento summers where it can get into the 115.

3Popup feature is great, but stability is not.  Sep 19, 2010 By Caraleisa
Bought this for my grandson, age 1. The pool opens easily, has its own carry case, and the blow up rim is wonderful. However, the walls of the pool below the blow up rim are completely unsupported except by water inside the pool and the rim which floats on top of it, so you can't sit in it and lean on the side, for example. It's very easy to crawl in and out of, because the side is unsupported and thus easy to push down - but that results in a lot of water gushing out of the pool.

Overall I wouldn't buy it again. This was the first time I purchased or even saw a popup pool - so it's possible that my dislike is an expected part of having the pop up feature. As long as you know this about it, it's handy. Better for kids a bit older who can be told not to step on the sides and waste a lot of water. A toddler just doesn't understand.

1Waste of monet  May 09, 2011 By Melissa Wier
I had a version of this pool made by Swimways and it lasted 4 years before it finally died last year because I was Lazy and forgot to put it away for the winter.
I was hoping this pool would be as good but it is not. It is very flimsy and made of extremely cheap thin plastic. My kids used it once and the top ring popped. Amazon was great about letting me return in and sent me a new one.
I ended up sending that one back as well because it had holes in the bottom of the pool. It never even got used.

5LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this pool :-)  Jul 27, 2011 By Gia Behrens
I took several weeks researching all kinds of toddler pools before 'jumping in' and trying this one out. So glad I settled on this one!! The material that forms the bottom and sides of the pool was much thicker and sturdier than I was expecting. The pool has four seams that are covered with a vinyl strip to prevent leaking water through the seam. Water still got into the vinyl area but everything held together well. The seams took the longest time to dry. It is super easy to pop out and set up. I used an electric pump to fill the top ring in less than a minute. It took maybe 15 minutes to fill with water. My 5 oldest kids fit in it at the same time (ages 9.5, 8, 5.5, 4 and 2). They had an absolute BLAST playing in it. They were enamored and fascinated with how the ring floated and slowly rose to hold the water inside (hence the high educational rating I gave).

It was easier to clean the pool up than to convince the kids it was time to clean up ;) First, it has a drain plug! Very nice. The kids got into the fun of helping to clean up by testing the floating ring as well. They would experiment on how much pressure it took to get the water to flow out. They would see if they could make it go out slow or fast and if they could rotate the ring downward to create a rolling "waterfall" to empty it. It dried very quickly once it was empty. I just had to take a cloth diaper and wipe out the water underneath the ring since the inflatable ring is narrower than the base of the pool so that the water can hold up the sides. I also used my electric pump to completely empty the inflatable ring so that I could fold it completely enough to get back into the storage bag.

If you are used to folding pop up tent toys, this pool is a breeze to get back into the mesh bag that is provided for storage. If you're not used to folding pop up tent toys, you will have a learning curve but you'll get used to it quickly enough. I love how compact it is to store! My kids are already asking if they can use a slide to splash into it. It holds enough water and it is big enough so I may just have to give in and let them expand the fun ;)

5Great easy fun for the summer  Jul 05, 2011 By A. Tutwiler "D&N's Maman"
So easy to set up and put away, we can now keep the kids cool easily, and keep their pool clean the whole summer and beyond, because we can easily empty it each day. We love it. Pop it away, and it takes no room at all. Pop it right out when it is time to play!
