By Anthony Barto I bought this for my wife to sunbathe on. She likes it because of the reflective coating so she can still get some sun on her back while lying on it. A word of caution though, this thing is pretty big...make sure you have somewhere to store this thing when not in use.

Honestly, I don't know if I've only had this for a year or 3 or more years. I had one for years that this one replaced at a fraction of the cost. What I do know is that it sits in the sun and chlorine and we leap on it time and time again. Jumping on it from the diving board is not safe, but it does happen. So after a half dozen fat kids treat it like a trampoline, I am grateful to have it still floating so I can take a nap in the sun.

By Michael D. Day I really like this float because I can get a tan on both sides at the same time; it is a very comfy float to lay on either on my back or stomach. In addition as I am on it in my pool, I can easily make it spin up and down the pool and it keeps spinning, giving me an even tan.
I have owned two of these floats and as you can tell I really enjoy them. Due to my own neglect, they both had to be replaced. This shouldn't reflect (pun intended) on their quality. The one I have now was shot at by my sons last winter with their air soft gun. My bad as I didn't put it away for the winter. I have tried time and again to plug the leak from the air soft bullet but it still keeps deflating on me.
So since these solar floats are half the price I paid for the last 2, I just ordered 2 more today. I will use one this summer and keep the 2nd one safely inside because who knows if/when I can get more in the upcoming years. I would also recommend you don't allow anyone to jump onto the float as I think as nice as it is, it can't take this kind of abuse.

I bought this more for the relaxing in the sun effect. The plastic gets really HOT in the sun if you leave it out, it is hard to get on, and no cup holders or head rest. The kids had more fun flinging themselves off of it than I had using it to tan... I wont buy again but it wasnt the worst thing I have bought...

Love this - I bought two . Sometimes though I flip it over to the silver side as the yellow side can be a bit more slippery to get onto . Not a big deal I guess I just prefer it upside down . It is very sturdy .And so relaxing to float around on as you are not hanging off or falling into a hole ( all solid ) . I would think you could lay in on the grass too .
