Incorrectly represented Apr 02, 2012
By Jamie Green The color and size look as advertised, however, I ordered two and both came with belts measuring only 49.5 inches. The order description says the belts are 60 inches - so buyer beware.

Poor Quality Belt Float Jul 16, 2010
By Thehammy This is a poor quality product. My wife used it for about 5 minutes before one of the foam pads started tearing. The foam is to soft for the nylon belt and the belt cuts through the foam. There should be some sort of cover over the foam to protect them from the belt.

A bunch of us meet at 7am at the Kailua Pier in Kona, Hawaii. We "jog" out to the 1/2 mile buoy and back. We call ourselves the "Talking Heads". This 4-block float belt is just the perfect amount of float! Some have the more "full-on" belts but they have too much lift on one's back. These belts can be arranged 2-in-front and 2-in-back for freedom of arm movements and even lift. I bought one for myself and one for a friend. It caught on fast since AMAZON gives such wonderful service with the free, speedy shipping! Now 6 of us have these belts (and also the webbed swim gloves!) This product is great because you could remove one or two of the blocks if you didn't want so much buoyancy. It is also good for deep-water pool aerobics classes.

By A. Reynolds I used this ALL last summer for my then almost 4 year old. He used all four blocks. He loved to get in the pool with his belt. He reminded us, "I need my belt on first!" You cannot leave a child unattended but it really helps them learn to swim and is MUCH BETTER than a life jacket. We went to the YMCA last week and he already asked for it. He is 4 1/2 and used it again. I would buy it again.

My son is 3 1/2 and is not a good swimmer just yet. But, he is very independent, loves the water, and wants to play and "swim" around without me holding on to him. This belt has worked perfectly. He floats along, but the belt also positions him for better "swimming" motions. His arms are free to stroke, unlike with some other products. I am very happy with this purchase!
