15" Easy Set Pool is great for the money! Jul 07, 2009
By Melanie We bought this pool on clearance at the end of June, and set it up right away. I had read all kinds of bad reviews about it so I was a little nervous, but figured what the heck, it was cheap so why not?
First I put the filter together. The instructions were pretty stupid but putting the filter together was straightforward once you got the hang of it.
Then I unrolled the pool and found a level patch in the backyard to put it on. I cleared away the sticks and acorns, and then spread the pool out. I used an air pump to blow up the ring (I used a handheld, which was fine, but it would be much easier and faster with an automatic one if you have it).
Once the ring was blown up, I got the hose and put it in. When there were about 2 inches of water in the pool, I walked around and made sure it was mostly level. The ground was a little uneven and lumpy, but it didn't seem to affect the pool. I spread the pool out and flattened the bottom as it filled (there are still some wrinkles but they're minor and I'm not concerned about them).
Once I was satisfied, I just went inside. I came out every half hour to check the progress and make sure it wasn't tipping to one side or anything. It took I think 6 hours to fill the pool, all told. And it's a little "off"... I think one side is probably an inch or two higher than the other, but it doesn't make any difference or have any effect on the pool whatsoever.
They say in the instructions that as long as it's only a 1-2" difference, it is fine, but any more than that and you'll need to redo it. I didn't use any sand or any other leveling device on the yard. I just didn't find it necessary.
It's a great pool, and I'm getting a lot of use out of it just in the last week that it's been up!
I wholeheartedly recommend this pool to anyone and everyone! Great, great, great pool! Lots of fun!

By Lynn Kids love this pool. Had to purchase a larger filter as the one this came with wasn't sufficient to keep things clean. Other than that, a great product!

The Filter pump May 25, 2010
By Terence G. Henry The pool is great! The filter that comes with it stinks! It has no power-it constanly has air in the lines. This filter is not powerful enough for this size pool. I ended up spending an extra $160.00 to get a filter powerful enough to clean this pool properly. I called Intex-they don't care and Customer Service at Amazon wasn't much better! The connections for the filter hoses to the pool are very flimsy.

Do not buy this pool! Jun 24, 2009
By Cassie L. Smith This is the most frustrating piece of equipment I own! Unless you have a professionally leveled piece of land it will not set up right. Last year it took me 4 fills before I finally gave up and said "good enough" even though on one side there was still about 8 inches of wall when I lifted up the ring. If you don't guide the filling every step of the way it will go up slanted, /__/ ,and not straight up. This year the ring has holes in every place it was folded for winter storage in my finished basement. I've found 7 of the holes, but the ring is still leaking so there must be more. I'll be buying a different pool for next year!

good bang for the buck May 22, 2010
By JD I got this pool delivered for like $250 which is great, because it saved me a trip to Wal-Mart and all the hassle of buying it and loading it into a cart and loading into the car and bringing it home, which in itself is a $100 value.
I set it up in an hour and it took a day to fill. I have bought these pools before and I expect them to last through at least 1 summer. This is my thrird one, the last one lasted 2 summers. Kids are 4 & 7 and it's perfect for them, will get a bigger one when they are older.
